It’s okay to work with a therapist. It’s okay to take medication for depression and anxiety. It’s okay to grieve. It’s okay to fully feel your emotions. We are still living through a pandemic and all of the uncertainties it brings. Structural inequality has not gone away.
If you need to find a therapist, you can ask your primary care physician for a recommendation, check the list of providers covered under your health insurance, consult with your employer’s Employee Assistance Program, ask a trusted friend, or consult the Psychology Today list of therapists.
